what's infogami?

infogami lets anyone build good-looking, easily-editable web sites. See our front page for a more detailed list of features.

it looks like just another wiki app. what's so special?

As we said on the front page, it's been just one week since we started working on infogami. Give us some time. The cool stuff isn't out yet.

do you own my website?

Nope, you get to keep full control over your site, including the copyright and all associated rights. (Except you give us the right to host it, of course.)

why are there ads on my site?

We have to pay the hosting bill somehow. In exchange for free hosting of your site, we put ads on the side. If you really don't like them, let us know and we can work something out.

who is this "we" you keep talking about?

infogami is made by not a bug: Aaron Swartz, Steve Huffman, Alexis Ohanian, and Chris Slowe.

You can tell us what you think or otherwise get involved on our feedback page.

how did you make it?

infogami is built in Python using web.py, PostgreSQL, and lighttpd.

how is it related to reddit?

It was built by the same team and runs on the same database. We also hope to have closer reddit integration soon.

you're violating my copyright!

Please send all copyright infringement notices to our designated agent.

what if I have a question that isn't on this list?

Drop us a line.
